Last Tuesday we had the pleasure to welcome DG Susan Wakefield and her husband PDG John to our club breakfast.  They were impressed with the amount of work our small club has achieved and the high level of active members. One of her main topics was relating to the current drought and how the clubs in our district can assist.

In our last bulletin there was a link to enable individual donations to the channel 9 / Rotary drought relief fund and I will seek further details of how we as a club can help after speaking with Wahroonga Rotary Club who are co-ordinating our districts’ efforts.

On a lighter note she presented us with a gnome ( see attached photos ) which we need to dress in a chosen “Rock & Roll” theme relating to “Rotary Rocks” , our 2019 District Conference to be held o 29-31 March in Newcastle.  Any suggestions will be welcome!

At our next meeting on Tuesday, 14 August we will hear from John Baird on the subject “Could your car be hacked”.
