Our speaker at last Tuesday’s breakfast was Tim Kwok, the Senior Community and Stakeholder Engagement Manager for Transport NSW. He updated us on the progress of the Western Harbour Tunnel and Beaches Link which includes a third harbour crossing for vehicular traffic and will provide a direct access route to the Northern Beaches from Rozelle under both Sydney Harbour and Middle Harbour.  The project will involve upgrading the Warringah Freeway in Cammeray which will alleviate traffic congestion on the Spit Bridge, Military Road, Harbour Bridge and Harbour Tunnel.

An email received from Mark Maloney, Rotary International President,  has advised clubs to use discretion with regard to club meetings and events during the global Covid-19 outbreak crisis. He advises that cancellation or postponement of club and district Rotary related events may be appropriate.  Our District 9685 Governor, Kalma McLellan has advised that the District Conference to be held in Wollongong from 20-22 March has been cancelled.

On Tuesday, 17 March we will be holding a Club Forum and I invite all members to attend and join in the discussions.
