I must admit that I really do miss our weekly breakfasts with my fellow club members and listening to such varied topics of the speakers that Ken provides for us to enjoy.  As I mentioned in the last bulletin I am in Perth WA with family. My brother in law Pat, a member of the West Perth Rotary Club participated in his club’s first Zoom meeting this morning.  I sat in on the event and observed that the 18 members who logged on enjoyed the chance to catch up and discuss how they were managing with the isolation restrictions.  They all agreed to do so again next Thursday and continue until circumstances allow regular club breakfasts to resume.

I am pleased to advise that our club will shortly be holding similar online meetings and all members will be contacted with details on how this will proceed.

My daily routine over here is rather mundane but one of the highlights is an early morning walk with Pat to get the paper! Peak hour traffic is very light and other walkers / joggers cross the road to avoid us!  I am asking members to send me photos of them coping with the stay at home restrictions and attach a photo of my new best friend “roo”, a garden sculpture in the back garden here.
