A disclosure – there is no “Nappertism” at the RCNSS, just co-incidence!

We are delighted to announce that Don Napper will soon be inducted as a member of the Rotary Club of North Sydney Sunrise. President Iain Clark first met Professor Emeritus Don Napper in March this year, when Don attended a meeting as guest speaker and gave us an engrossing introduction to the remarkable career of James Barnet, NSW Colonial Architect. Don’s wide knowledge and his strong interest in the local community have impressed and won the unanimous support of our members. The fact that Iain’s great-grandmother Sarah Ann Clark (nee Napper) (b. 1853 – d. 1923) and Don’s grandfather were first cousins is purely co-incidental. There are absolutely no grounds for anyone to suspect Don’s application has been influenced by “Nappertism”.

We are planning to visit Stuart Town Public School for a tree planting and book giving afternoon on Thursday 29th June. We expect to stay somewhere in the Stuart Town area overnight. If you would like to join us, please let me know. It will be a very busy week, since Tuesday 27th June will be our Change-over Night at Ivan and Lizzies’ in Waverton. Please set aside the evening and let Ken know who will be coming.
