Many thanks to PP Warren for keeping the ship on course during my recent absence. From all accounts, the profiles presented by Andrew and Don yet again demonstrated the remarkable depth and breadth of experience and interests encompassed by our members, how little we know about people we meet each week and how fortunate we are to have the chance to get to know each other better.

The recent BBQ at Bunnings suffered a few hick-ups at the beginning, but went on to be the most successful BBQ we have staged anywhere. Well done and many thanks to all involved.

My personal quest over the last few weeks to travel from North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia to North Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada was also successful. Nevertheless, even though the skies were blue and life was laid back on the other side of the world, there is no place quite like home. It is great to be back in the real North Sydney!
