The exotic cuisine at Moorish Blue attracted nearly 30 members and friends to our social gathering last Tuesday. Our morning meetings provide little opportunity for casual chatter amongst our members and our regular dinners are important in giving us all a chance to know one another better.

April is often an unusual month with Easter and ANZAC Day combining with school holidays to break up work routines only just getting into their stride after the new year festivities. So it is with Rotary. This weekend is the President-Elect Training Seminar, commonly known as ‘PETS’. With Allan away visiting family, Ken has kindly offered to deputise. Our Bunnings BBQ is only two weeks away! Then we have the Victor Dominello Breakfast at the Kirribilli Club on the 24th. If you haven’t confirmed your attendance or apology with Moira, please do so as soon as possible. Finally, at the end of the month, the District Governor Elect’s team will conduct our District Assembly, a chance for Rotarians young and old to find out how Rotary is structured and managed and importantly, what programs are available near to home and round the world for us to support and follow. If you would like to attend, please have a chat to Allan.

Best wishes to Cathie who this week is celebrating a big birthday!
