Future health campuses

What will hospitals be like in the future?

Stewart will talk on ‘Greenwich Hospital and their plans to develop an “integrated care campus”.  To put this in context, HammondCare provide services currently spanning aged care, dementia care, the sub-acute services of neurological and cancer rehab, palliative care, pain services and older persons mental health.  For many years they have been providing pathways linking these services together across campuses, but their vision and planning is to develop a fully integrated campus at Greenwich Hospital where all these services will come together with seamless transitions for people.

This talk will paint a picture of a future health campuse.

Stewart James is currently the General Manager Heath and Hospitals for HammondCare, an independent Christian charity.  Previously he worked in criminal investigation for 10 years based in Darlinghurst with NSW Police, then moved onto a career in wholesaling and retailing FMCG’s and appointed as GM of IGA in Victoria with sales of $500m servicing 4,500 supermarkets across Victoria. Later he moved in health services and led residential aged care for Anglican Retirement Villages before being appointed GM at HammondCare in 2009.
